#25 Ryan Grant Green Bay - - Packers running back Ryan Grant says he won't show up for training camp without a new contract. Grant's agent told the Green Bay Press Gazette yesterday that his client has not signed a tender that would only pay him the league minumum of $375,000 dollars. Grant is a restricted free agent, and reported this week for the team's weightlifting program. He will participate in spring mini camps in May, but he won't come to training camp until he gets a new long term deal from the Packers. What is Ryan Grant's market value? The Seattle Seahawks recently signed former Cowboys running back Julius Jones, an unrestricted free agent, to a four - year deal worth $12 million that included $5.5 million in bonuses and salary upfront. Jones only gained 588 yards for the season, averaging 3.6 yards per carry behind that huge offensive line in Dallas. Warrick Dunn, 33, got a two-year deal from Tampa Bay worth $6 million after being cut by the Falcons. Dunn only scored 4 touchdowns in his final season in Atlanta, average yards per carry 3.2 yards during a dismal season. Ryan Grant gained 956 yards in just the last 9 games of the season, with an incredible 5.1 yards per carry, running behind the Packers young guards. $375,000? Looks like the Packers will have to grant Ryan's wish. Click Here: NFL's Running Backs In Free Agency - Mike Clemens
