All of Wisconsin's newspapers printed special Favre tribute sections in their Sunday morning editions. Most newstands were sold out by 10am today. Readers wanted something to hold on to. A piece of history. A token to remember the Favre era.

The locker will be cleaned out. The Favre name plate taken down. The name removed from the official team roster when the retirement papers have been filed with the league office.
